What to expect when attending a worship service
What can I expect when I arrive?
A warm welcome !

We'll also give you a welcome pack if it's your first time that explains a bit about who we are, as well as a pen, and some sweets to enjoy.
How long are the services
Our services are typically 60 - 75 minutes.
What happens in the service?
Here's our typical basic structure:

1. Start with a song
2. Welcome
3. Time of worship (20 mins)
4. Intimations
5. Message (30 mins)
6. Closing song
Refreshments after the service in Trinity Life Hub

On the 1st Sunday of the month we normally share communion as part of the service.

What do you have for kids?
We have a weekly Superheroes Sunday Club that operates during term time.

The children normally leave during the first song of the Time of Worship and come back to report on what they have been up to before the closing song.

We operate a safeguarding policy and all our Children's workers have been through disclosure and safeguarding training.
What does "Time of Worship" look like?
At Trinity Life we like to sing!

But we don't just sing for the sake of it. We sing because we want to thank and praise Jesus for who he is and what He has done. We want to worship Him who is holy and worthy of our adoration.

The songs we sing are largely contemporary but we do sing some traditional hymns from time to time.

Some people raise their hands, some stand, some sit. Our prayer is that in our time of worship you connect in a meaningful way with the Lord Jesus who loves you and gave Himself for you. The bible calls is worshipping in spirit and in truth.
Do you take up an offering?
Yes, we do.

We normally do this during the second song in the worship set.

On the second Sunday of the month we also take up an offering for mission over the sea and over the street. This is taken during the closing song and is in additional to our regular offering.

When should I arrive?
For your first visit, plan on arriving 10 minutes prior to the service you are attending so we can meet you and show you where to go. If you are checking in your kids for the first time, plan on 15 minutes before the service so we can explain how our system works, and where the kids go during the service.
What should I wear?
We have no set dress code, so come wearing what you would normally wear every day.
Come casual or smart - whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Where can I park?
We have a small car park beside the church, however there is on-street parking available on Huntly Place plus additional parking in Dunabban Road and Abbey Court.
